Part 1
My poster is unique and individual to me because it showcases my style. My personal style includes many circles, half-circles, and curvy lines and shapes, which appeared in all of my past projects and therefore appears in this one. I also enjoy having much negative space as opposed to a busy area, which also appears in this particular project.
Most of my peers decided to take certain elements from all of their projects and use them to create this poster. I, however, chose to use snippets of my project instead of specific elements for the most part. Also, most everyone else decided to have their design and then there paragraph within it and visible, but I chose to make the text in my paragraph extremely small and use it as a texture.
While doing this project I learned about what elements I tended to use often, such as circles and curves, which I had not noticed beforehand.
Part 2
I think the reason I chose this specific page is because it stands out from the rest of the pages in this 9 weeks. All of the other pages have pieces cut out from magazines as the main subject of the piece, but for this one, it is a piece of fabric being featured. For this page, all I used was a piece of fabric, a few markers, and a protractor.
I'm not entirely sure as to how this page communicates with others, but I'm not too sure if they would like it. I think it may be a bit to simple or even a bit too abstract for some tastes. I don't think I can correctly compare this piece with the last nine-weeks' piece because they seem to be two different styles.
